Bananagram Four
Sunday, June 10, 2007 at 10:20AM I had grand designs for this Banangram. After the last 'gram, suggestions came in from many of my most trusted advisors. Banana bread, fried plantains, banans foster, 'nana puddin' with 'nilla wafers: recepies abounded, many of them quite appealing. I had every intention of making at least one of them. Truly.
Then life, as it is wont to do, got in the way. I've been busy. What can I say?
So, at last, I went ahead and ate another banana whole. After all, part of the whole appeal of bananas as food is their pre-packaged, meal-complete goodness, right? No need to do more than peel'n'eat, right?
Man, I wish it worked that well in application. I swear these things aren't actually food. This banana was, at least, a different experience than the last one; I was less actively revolted. It was organic, which I was hoping would help (it didn't), and a good deal smaller than a normal member of its species (greatly appreciated).
So far, I haven't really gotten... anywhere with this. Time for a new approach. For real, this time.
